Description
Overview:
The SAP Configuration Analyst (CA) will act as an internal SAP system and
business process consultant. The CA will be the primary/expert resource for the
'why' and 'how' of business processes and how they are supported/integrated into
the various SAP modules. The CA will provide consulting to functional business
areas to assess process improvement opportunities and system change
integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute & maintain the SAP system configuration process
- Identify & implement improvement opportunities
- Assist in defining the scope, impact, cost, and cost savings of the SAP
changes where applicable
- Develop business requirements & functional design for ABAP programmers
- Assist with testing
- Create and maintain SAP documentation repository as it relates to standards,
controls, policies, procedures, audits, and testing
- Develop and maintain SAP module Service Level Agreements, and
- Provide 2nd level SAP support (1st level = Help Desk, 3rd level = SAP).
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as SAP Configuration Analyst -- experienced with
multiple SAP implementations-- SAP release 4.7 experience -- FI/CO or MM/PP, and
WM modules required -- additional modules (SD, PS, PM, BW) experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree. Majoring Engineering or IT related discipline preferred.
- SAP certification a plus
- Experience with SAP toolkits, InfoPak or WebArchitect helpful
UNIX Administrator
