Requirements that apply to all candidates at
all levels:
All applicants must possess the minimum of a Bachelors
degree and must be motivated and able to solve problems quickly.
Consultants may have to travel extensively, they may have to learn a
brand new technology in a matter of weeks, or they may find themselves
asked to step into a role of more responsibility on short notice.
Candidates must have exemplary intelligence and adaptability, and superb
people, communication and writing skills.

Entry Level Consultants:
Amentra is seeking the best and brightest students graduating with a
Bachelors or Masters Degree related to computer science or math. We are
looking for graduates who want to build on their core base of knowledge,
work with leading edge technologies and a diverse array of others, as
well as learn the real "business" of consulting. Candidates must have
significant experience with Java, VB, and/or C#, superior writing and
oral presentation skills as well as a love of learning.
Consultants:
In addition to possessing the characteristics listed above, those coming
in at the consultant level must have experience working in real business
scenarios and must possess the necessary technical skills to implement
distributed solutions. Significant experience is required in the
development and deployment of distributed, service-based business
solutions. Candidates should have a few years of development experience
in Java and J2EE or .NET and a related language, as well as OO design.
Senior Consultants:
Candidates will possess all the skills required for Amentra employees as
well as OO and structured analysis and design, database design, superb
written and verbal communication skills, team leadership,
teaching/mentoring skills, and time management. Senior Consultants
should be capable of understanding client needs and making technical
recommendations regarding the selection of web, application, and
database servers, including hardware and services. 5+ years of
experience is required, including significant experience in the
development and deployment of distributed, N-tiered business solutions.
Project Managers:
Must epitomize the best of what we seek in employees along with the
necessary skills to manage the implementation of distributed software
solutions. This includes managing scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and
client expectations. Project Managers must possess the ability to
communicate project status to both senior management and project teams
on a recurring basis and must be capable of coaching and mentoring
project team members. Candidates must possess superb written and verbal
communication skills, team leadership, and time management. 5+ years of
project management experience using a variety of project management
tools and methodologies are required, including significant experience
in the management of e-business solutions.
