NouvEON is seeking a Senior SAP Administrator for a permanent opportunity in Charlotte.
Responsibilities:

Manages methods for support, upgrades and implementations of SAP software.

Communicates work plans and clearly identifies critical nexus points as well as
completion and/or issues.

Works with operations management to insure that resources are adequate and appropriately
scheduled.

Acts as the focal point for services issues, patches or upgrades with ISV.
-
Identifies and understands business issues driving the customer decision and works
with the various Managed Services parties in pricing issues associated with the
customer needs.

Ensures compliance with new project initiation methodology
-
Review Operations Project plan and insure that (from an SAP technical perspective):
critical client business issues are addressed, adequate resources have been committed,
all parties have been communicated regarding critical responsibilities.

Tracks and communicates all identified technical issues with regard to SAP (installation,
patch and upgrade).

Takes the lead role in the planning and application of maintenance releases of SAP.
-
Resolves client issues with the use, performance, and feature/functionality of the
application.
-
Initiates OSS messages with SAP for technical issues.
-
Performs initial testing of SAP in patch applications
-
Coordinates the scheduling of patch application to the client’s production environment.
Qualifications:
-
B.S. degree or equivalent work experience required; MA preferred
-
5+ years Technical SAP Basis experience
-
Specific skills include, but are not limited to:

Expertise in SAP Basis / WAS
-
SAP Landscape design
-
Experience with R/3 4.7 (Enterprise) or SAP ERP ECC5
-
Full version SAP upgrades (ex. 4.6c to Enterprise)
-
Technical Upgrades (SAP Kernel, Support Packs, Add-ons, DB upgrades)
-
Oracle, SQL Server, SAP DB
-
UNIX & Windows OS
-
TMS/CTS configuration, design and administration
-
System copies / Refreshes, Client copies
-
Performance tuning
-
SAP Router / OSS Connectivity
-
mySAP components a plus (BW, CRM, SCM, APO, PLM, SEM, EBP, Portals)

Ability to travel independently throughout client locations to meet with employees,
customers, partners and suppliers.

Ability to understand and manage financial and operations reports, organizational
processes and methodologies
-
Ability to utilize sound and independent judgment to determine project guidelines,
purpose, follow-through and completion.

Excellent oral and written skills and is capable of translating technology concepts
and trends into meaningful information understandable to those who are less technical
inside or outside of the organization.
