The responsibility of the Senior Production Specialist is to provide team leadership in the interface between Computer Operations, & the Technical Support departments & Application Support Departments. Person will provide expertise for all associated elements and first level support for all batch applications and the automated production control Scheduling, report databases and Change Control Management. Assist the Computer Operations Manager in the coordination, implementation, enhancements, and maintenance of efficient end-to-end Operation Automation Solutions using the software available. To perform complex projects of significant size and organizational span.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Provide team leadership and expertise in the implementation, fine-tuning, maintenance and testing of applications per requirements and design specifications.
- Assure quality of products and services by maintaining and monitoring batch-related software packages.
- Provide expertise and leadership in performing problem analysis and permanent resolution to ensure service level agreements are met
- Maintain contact with Application Support Team to ensure their scheduling/report distribution or inline viewing expectations are understood and met.
- Provide on-call support for Computer room as needed.
- Coordinate the development, maintenance, and accuracy of departmental documentation and gather, analyze, and report relevant performance metrics.
- Assist the Computer Operations Manager with other duties as appropriate and required.
