So here is the email I promised to post.

Hi,
I'm a sound student at Concordia University in Montreal and I've been trying
to find some background music for a studio project in a video class. As the
idea is more or less to produce a kind of hip, urban, for struggling students
type of cooking show, I thought of using your piece as either background or
intro music. Though your creative commons license obviously dictates when or
how your piece can be used, I thought it would be best to first confirm with
you. The production is not for commercial purposes and would probably only get
screened within the context of the classroom. Would you be alright with us
using Nanobite Battle?
Thanks,
Cristal

Of course I said "Yes". This Creative Commons thing is really working! People can post their music, their writing, their movies, and license them under one of the
Creative Commons licenses. It is a cool way to share your work with other artists.
I need to take some time to post some longer works and some acoustic guitar pieces to
Opsound.org. When I have some time I'll get to that. I also need to spend some more time learning Reason 2.5 in depth.
