We are looking to pay between $80k and $90k.
Here is our job description:
A senior level software developer to design, develop and implement underwriting systems for various business models.
Key business requirements are rating, portfolio analysis, and document production including full policy issuance.
Responsibilities to include leading requirement gathering sessions with underwriters, develop code and database structures, lead as well as participate in system development, support of legacy client server applications, and support day to day underwriting and reporting needs.
7 to 10 years solid IT experience in project management, business analysis, system development and QA is desired.  Must be proficient in the Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server, MS Reporting Services), possess excellent web development skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.) and possess excellent communication, problem solving and analysis skills.  Insurance industry experience is highly desired.  Some travel is required.

Systems Developer
Contract-to-hire - We want to hire as soon as the skills and team fit are verified
Salary upon hire will be around $50K - $55K, depending on experience
Skills required: 
SQL Server stored procedures -- Expert level developer with experience coding to complex business rules
ASP.NET  -- Expert
VB.NET -- Expert
ASP -- Mid-level experience, because we have some legacy code
VB6 -- Mid-level experience, because we have some legacy code
Visual Source Safe
SQL Server Reporting Services -- Expert
Access -- would like somebody with some experience because we use it a lot but doesn't have to be an expert.
Experience with Billing, Accounting, Payroll.
Project Management -- need somebody that is organized, can articulate well, and task oriented.

Position Description/Duties:
Responsible for Supervision of 8-9 IT staff (6-7 Developers, 1 QA, 1 BA)
Interfacing with project committee to determine priority IT projects and providing timely updates
Production Support duties including posting of application changes to Production environment.  Handling daily requests for mass updating of production data.
Project management of all projects currently being undertaken by IT group.
Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge and/or experience working with a drug-testing business
Ideally posses knowledge and experience working with complex data processing system
Ideally have experience working with the following languages VB.NET, SQL Server 2000, ASP.NET
Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to interact effectively with all levels across multiple offices to determine essential business needs
