After doing some thinking and some testing I have decided not to add an ATOM feed to the site. It won't enhance anything I am trying to do with the blog and will add an extra layer of work maintaining another URL. So for now there won't be an ATOM feed.
The DotNetNuke session was good. It seems like it's only a good "Nuke" to use if you're already invested in ASP.NET, .NET Components, or running a Microsoft-only shop. Otherwise you could go with the original open source multiplatform nukes. From what I could tell it seems to be architected well. I think I would use it if I needed a Microsoft "Out of the Box" portal solution. I'll have to install it this weekend and get more up to speed.
Speaking of ASP.NET, I need to finish writing a PHP-like Template system for ASP.NET(C#) that I started a few months back. I'm about 30% complete now.
